Party Cruiser's Etc. was established in 1987 to provide cruise vacation expertise and exceptional service for leisure and group travel.
Joni Cohen, ECCS, owner of Party Cruiser's Etc., has been in the travel industry since 1981. She was originally affiliated with a large travel organization as their cruise specialist and after six highly successful years she made the decision to form Party Cruiser's Etc.
Though the cruise market was relatively small at this time, Party Cruiser's Etc. continued to grow its client list by providing exceptional personal service along with highly competitive pricing.
Party Cruiser's Etc. is unique in providing personal visits to homes, businesses, and groups to accommodate their clients schedules, as well putting on "Cruise Nights" for organizations, and special interest groups.
As a result of client requests, Party Cruiser's Etc. has expanded their offerings to include land tours including customized and unique travel opportunities.
Joni is a Luxury Cruise Specialist and an Elite Cruise Counselor Scholar, the highest accreditation in the cruise industry. She was the first ECCS inducted into the CLIA Hall of Fame in 2017.
In 2002, Joni's husband Ron joined Party Cruiser's to assist in the expansion of their travel offerings. They both joined APTA The Association For The Promotion of Tourism To Africa where Ron became President of the Midwest Chapter. for several years. Sadly Ron passed away July 4, 2021 after struggling with Pulmonary Fibrosis for nearly 4 years.
In 2002 Marlene Kelsey joined the staff as their West Coast agent. Marlene is a Master Cruise Counselor.
In 2021 Wendy Rosenberg also an Elite Cruise Counselor Scholar and Luxury Cruise Specialist joined Party Cruiser's Etc. adding her expertise.
In 2023 Kathy Summers, formerly with Designed for You Travel, joined the staff. Kathy has been in the business over 25 years and was on the advisory board for the Travel and Tourism program at the College of DuPage. She also was a past President of the Midwest chapter of APTA.(Association for the Promotion of Tourism to Africa. )
