| Day 1 | Depart USA | U.S.A-COSTA RICA : Depart U.S.A. for San Jose, Capital of Costa Rica. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel IRAZU. |
| Day 2 | Tortuguero | SAN JOSE-TORTUGUERO: : In the morning, your guide will pick up at your hotel and from San Jose you will travel via bus going through high mountain plateaus, eventually winding down to the coastal plain with its rich banana plantations down to Hamburgo, where you will board a jungle boat for Pachira or Mawamba lodge. | Day 3 | JUNGLES OF TORTUGUERO | JUNGLES OF TORTUGUERO: : After breakfast, you will board the riverboat for a 3-6 hour voyage through the quiet river and canal system that connects it with Costa Rica's rich tropical rain forest. You are likely to glimpse birds of startling beauty, including toucans and brilliantly colored parrots. Costa Rica has more than 800 species of birds, more than all of the United States and Canada combined, and your guide will help you identify them. (B,L,D.) |
| Day 4 | San Jose | TORTUGUERO-SAN JOSE: : You'll be awaken by the sounds of howler monkeys in the forest behind the Lodge. Then, after a big family style breakfast, return by boat/car to San Jose with transfer to the hotel Irazu (B). |
| Day 5 | Panama | SAN JOSE-PANAMA BY AIR : Arrive in Panama. Upon arrival meeting and transfer to hotel HARD ROCK (B) |
| Day 6 | Panama City | PANAMA CITY TOUR : Our day will start at the Miraflores locks, located at the Pacific entrance to the Canal where our expert guide will let you in on the secrets and histories surrounding the building of the Canal while you experience this magnificent architectural masterpiece and have a breathtaking view of the ships transiting through the 8th wonder of the world. The trip then takes to the city, where you will be able to experience not only the banking capital of Central America but also the beauty of the colonial city of Panama. We will visit the "Cause Way, a leisure paradise with shopping, restaurants and bars that offers spectacular views of the modern city and its skyscrapers. In contrast, the oldest sector of the modern Panama City founded in 1673, has a charming mixture of colonial architecture, cobblestone streets and ethnic diversity. | Day 7 | GAMBOA RAINFOREST | PANAMA-GAMBOA RAINFOREST : Depart in the morning by car and then by boat going thru a fascinating and dense jungle of Gamboa.. This beautiful resort is located on the Chagras River and only a mile away from the Canal. This morning, you will start your excursion visiting the Aerial Tram and ending at the Ecological Exhibits. The tram takes you from the shadowy rainforest floor through the under growth and into the sun drenched canopy. There you can enjoy a bird's eye view of a thousand acres of green forest interspersed with flora and fauna. You will also visit the Orchid Gardens, the Serpentarium, the butterfly exhibit, the reptile and fish exhibit. HOTEL HARD ROCK.(B) |
